Services offered by Ros’ office

My office is pleased to support local community groups and not-for-profit organisations by offering complimentary black and white photocopying.

Whether you need assistance with club newsletters or flyers promoting community events, we are happy to help during office hours—no appointment is necessary.

I have several 3m x 3m marquees available for loan to community groups.

As these are in high demand, bookings are essential, so I encourage you to contact my office on (07) 5601 7100 as early as possible to secure a marquee for your event.

I am always pleased to support local events and would be delighted to attend or participate where my schedule allows.

I can also assist in promoting your event through media coverage.

My office has many environmentally friendly bags available for schools and community groups.

Please contact my office on (07) 5601 7100 if you require any.

Gift baskets are available for community groups for raffles or fundraising purposes upon request.

As quantities are limited, please contact my office to reserve one for your event.

I am pleased to offer tours of Parliament House for school groups when Parliament is sitting, and these can be arranged through my office.

We can ensure I am aware of your visit and arrange for your group to be acknowledged in the Chamber by the Speaker during Question Time.

Where my parliamentary schedule allows, I am always happy to meet with school groups, have a chat with students, and organise a photo opportunity.

Parliamentary Attendants also conduct a range of tailored tours for school groups from Monday to Friday each week.

The maximum tour group size is 30.

Special group bookings for schools and larger organisations are available on weekdays, with tours commencing from the Parliamentary Annexe public entrance on Alice Street.

During the tour, students will have the opportunity to visit key areas of Parliament House, including the grand foyer and staircase, the Legislative Council (Red Chamber), honour boards and leadlight windows.

On non-sitting days, groups may also visit the Legislative Assembly (Green Chamber), view the Mace and Windyarn (the Parliament’s didgeridoo), and see the Speaker and Sergeant-at-Arms mannequins.

On sitting days, access is provided to the Legislative Assembly Gallery.

To organise a tour, please contact my office on (07) 5601 7100.

The State Government provides complimentary Queensland flags to schools and non-profit organisations.

The Queensland Companion Card program supports people with a disability who have a lifelong need for attendant care to participate more fully in community life.

The program promotes fair ticketing practices by ensuring that individuals who require this support are not disadvantaged. In particular, it removes a significant barrier to participation in activities and events by eliminating the need to purchase an additional ticket for a companion.

Call Within Australia: 13 QGOV (13 74 68) or visit https://www.qld.gov.au/disability/out-and-about/companion-card/ for further information.

I am pleased to provide letters of support to not-for-profit organisations applying for government funding.

To assist with this, please include details such as the purpose of the grant, organisational information, and the expected benefits for both the organisation and the broader community.

A Letter of Support Request Form can be downloaded via the link below, or hard copies are available from the Mudgeeraba Electorate Office. Completed forms may be returned in person, by email, or by post.

Please note that requests can take approximately 1–2 weeks to process.

Please call our office on (07) 5601 7100.
