HOW old will you be in 2040?
Because that’s how long you will be waiting for a new hospital on the Gold Coast to be built.
That’s right, another 18 years.
The Palaszczuk Government’s promise to Queensland has now been exposed as a 2040 farce.
The Government’s Ministerial Infrastructure Designation lodged with Gold Coast City Council shows the Coomera hospital won’t be completed until at least 2040.
The Palaszczuk Government’s failure to plan and properly resource hospitals created the Queensland Health Crisis and now they’re trying to sell a solution 18 years away.
Their long-term solution won’t even meet the short-term demand required now.
Despite spending more than a million dollars of taxpayers’ money on an advertising campaign selling it’s health plan, not once did the Palaszczuk Government ever say the Coomera Hospital wouldn’t be completed until 2040.
Queenslanders are suffering because the Palaszczuk Government is not listening and not acting to fix the Queensland Health Crisis.
Enough is enough.
The Premier and her incompetent Minister are full of empty promises and no action.
Queenslanders deserve so much better.
