After door knocking through Merrimac I wrote to Cr Bob La Castra about a number of traffic issues along Highfield Drive, particularly at the roundabout outside All Saints Anglican College.
I can report back that the Council’s Transport Network Management, performed an on-site inspection, and arrangements have now been made to install an additional roundabout give way sign, upgrade the existing roundabout warning sign and replace missing raised reflective pavement markers (cats eyes) on the existing painted chevron island. These signage and delineation improvements will assist in improving driver awareness on both approaches to the roundabout.
These works will be completed as soon as practicable. Thanks Bob
