LIVE HEALTH DATA WITHIN 100 DAYSKey health policy to help patients and staff Real time health and hospital data will go LIVE within the first 100 days of a Crisafulli LNP Government, as part of the LNP’s plan to heal the Queensland Health Crisis. The policy was announced by LNP Leader David Crisafulli today as part of the LNP’s Right Priorities for Queensland’s Future Campaign. Shadow Minister for Health and Ambulance Services Ros Bates said real time data would be a key priority for the LNP, if elected in October. “Within the first 100 days of forming government, the LNP will make real time data a reality, bringing transparency to Queensland’s health system,” Ms Bates said. “Real time data will be accessible to patients and health professionals to help them make the best decision for their situation. “This will bring transparency and accountability, which is critical to start healing the Queensland Health Crisis. “As a registered nurse and former hospital administrator, I know how important it is for patients and staff to be aware of how their local hospital is performing. “This technology already exists in other states and Queenslanders deserve to know what’s happening in our hospitals, in real time. “Labor has been in a state of chaos and crisis for a decade and our health system has suffered as a result.“It’s clear Labor only cares about the next four months, not the next four years and beyond. “Queenslanders can no longer trust this Labor Government to be open, honest or transparent, they will do and say anything to cling to power. “Under Labor, ambulance ramping is the worst in the country at 45.5%, bypass is back, surgical waitlists have soared and regional maternity wards have shut. “Only the LNP has the Right Priorities for Queensland’s Future, including easier access to health services. “The LNP has put other solutions on the table to help heal the Queensland Health Crisis, including better resources, better triaging and putting doctors and nurses back in charge to improve patient care. “We will deliver a contemporary Queensland Health Workforce Plan to protect the interests of patients and staff. “It’s one thing to promise new hospitals, but it’s another thing to staff them.” |
