Kind-hearted Mudgeeraba locals have once again helped make Christmas a little brighter for kids in care this year.
LNP Member for Mudgeeraba Ros Bates said her annual Christmas Kids in Care Appeal has been another success.
“Christmas can be a difficult time for children in care,” Ms Bates said.
“I was able to collect gifts through my electorate office and deliver them to the Nerang Child Safety Service Centre for wrapping and distribution.
“The Mudgeeraba spirit is alive and well, with many generous donations of toys for boys and girls aged up to 17.
“From racing cars to rainbow-coloured llamas we had a wide range of gifts donated.
“I’d like to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to the appeal.”
