The Cross River Rail Delivery Authority is planning three new rail stations on the Gold Coast Line and one of these will be at Merrimac.
Concept designs have now been prepared and we are seeking your feedback and local knowledge to help further develop the concept designs.
Merrimac Station is scheduled to be open in time for the first Cross River Rail services.
The Merrimac station will be located on Gooding Drive, approximately 750 metres east of the Pacific Motorway and Gooding Drive Interchange(Exit 77).

Community drop-in sessions
The project team will be holding community drop-in sessions to enable you to meet the team, ask questions and provide face-to-face feedback on all three stations. Drop in any time at the sessions listed below.
Pimpama Shopping Centre (102 Jacobs Well Road) between 3pm – 7pm on Thursday 17 October and between 10am – 2pm on Saturday 19 October.
Hope Island Marketplace (99 Broadwater Avenue) between 4pm – 8pm on Thursday 24 October and between 10am – 2pm on Saturday 26 October.
Carrara Shopping Centre (54 Manchester Road, Carrara QLD, Australia) between 4pm – 8pm on Thursday 31 October and between 10am – 2pm on Saturday 2 November.
