I was delighted to receive a thank you letter from the Rural Fire Brigades Association Queensland after the LNP secured equal workers’ compensation protection for rural firies.
It took months of tireless campaigning by the Rural Fire Brigade Association of Queensland and the LNP for Labor to finally wake up and realise their Bill was discriminatory and downright unfair to hardworking volunteers.
Like the rest of Queensland, the LNP respects the hard work, dedication and sense of service of all permanent, part-time, auxiliary and volunteer rural firefighters.
