I am deeply alarmed by the revelations that the Palaszczuk Government’s Satellite Hospital program has had a shocking blowout of more than $110 million.

The State Government is asking Queenslanders to trust them to build three new hospitals in seven years time and they can’t even construct these small suburban medical facilities that don’t have one bed between them on time and on budget.

It was only six months ago the State Government was defending a $15 million blowout on these projects, it’s now $111.9 million.

The Premier promised they would be open by May 2023.

Now we know some of them won’t be open until 2024.

The Palaszczuk Government can’t plan, deliver and evaluate and Queenslanders are paying the price.
